Ann Gittleman Receives Scholarship to Study Voice with Renowned International Opera Star

Ann Gittleman

Ann Gittleman, soprano, is the recipient of a Cappella Cantorum Scholarship to study voice with renowned international opera star Patricia Schuman.

Ann started singing with Cappella Cantorum MasterWorks Chorus when she was in high school, and is currently the Section Leader for the first soprano section.

She has been a cantor/soloist at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church in Glastonbury, Connecticut for eight years.  Ann has also performed solo work at other area churches and with Cappella Cantorum.

Ann’s Carnegie Hall performances include:

  • Verdi Requiem, 2013
  • Fauré Requiem, 2005
  • Beethoven Mass in C major, 2003
  • Rutter Requiem, 2002
  • Mozart Requiem, 2001

She has also recently performed the Duruflé Requiem at Lincoln Center, Avery Fisher Hall.

Ann lives in Glastonbury, Connecticut with her husband and four children.
