Cappella Cantorum is thrilled to announce its 7th Carnegie Hall performance on June 7, 2025. This event will also mark the Carnegie Hall conducting debut of Cappella’s former Music Director, Simon Holt (Music Director of Cappella Cantorum Masterworks Chorus from August 2016- April 2024).
Cappella is extending an open invitation to all Connecticut singers who wish to join us for this exciting event. Register as part of the Cappella group for an opportunity to share in group discounts for registration fees, transportation and lodging, as well as any special rehearsals held by Cappella in CT from late April-early June.
Planning is still underway, but the deadline for registration is looming. Our research to date is showing that total cost will be between $2,000 and $2,500 including the Carnegie Hall performance fee, hotel (three nights at double occupancy), round-trip transportation to NYC via train as a group, and transportation within NYC. There will be some opportunities to reduce costs and also for additional events per your choice – details will follow once they are finalized.
The initial registration deadline requires a deposit of $310 (three hundred ten US dollars) no later than September 16, 2024. A second deposit will be required by November 15, 2024, and a final payment by April 1, 2025. Amounts for the second and final deposits will be determined by the options that you choose such as hotel and transportation. All payments must be processed through Cappella Cantorum.
