Description

The initial deposit to register with Cappella Cantorum for participation in New York City rehearsals June 5 – 7 and the Carnegie Hall performance of Mozart’s Requiem in D minor (K.626) on Saturday, June 7, 2025  (conducted by Simon Holt) is $310 (with a $10 discount if paid by cash or check). This covers the initial deposit to MidAmerica Productions, which is due to Cappella on or before Sept 16, 2024.

The full cost of the MidAmerica Productions Concert-Only Residency package is $1199 per person (excluding discounts and credit card charges). This package is required for all singers who register as part of the Cappella Cantorum group to sing at Carnegie Hall on June 7, 2025. Please review the MidAmerica “Choral Concert-Only Residency” brochure for full details on their programming and what is included in this package: MidAmerica Choral Concert-Only Residency.  Transportation, lodging and most meals during the trip are not included in the MidAmerica package. Our latest projections indicate the full cost of the trip with these elements included will be in the range of $2000 to $2500 (per person, double occupancy).

Registration as part of the Cappella Cantorum group allows singers to share in MidAmerica’s group discounts (where available), Cappella group discounts for transportation and lodging, and any late-Spring special rehearsals (April 28-June 4) that are offered by Cappella Cantorum. Participants may choose from a variety of options to control travel costs while still being registered with MidAmerica as part of the Cappella group.
